Take a guided tour of the amazing murals on Quinpool Road during Nocturne Halifax. The Friday night walks will be led by local artist and the Mastermind behind the Halifax Mural Festival, Mike Burt. The Saturday night walks will be led by Joanne Clancy who some of you will remember from her work at CTV.
Hear about the artists and what the inspiration was behind their creations, what techniques were used and learn more about the impact these murals and others like them have on the community.
Guided tours will take place on Friday, October 13 and Saturday, October 14, beginning at 7pm and 9pm, each evening, leaving from Dilly Dally Cafe (outside) and ending at the Oxford Taproom. Length of each tour is approximately an hour.
