The Façade Improvement Program is open to members of the QRMDA both business and commercial property owners. The property must lie within the boundaries of the QRMDA.
If you are interested in sprucing up your storefront and have not received FIP funding from the QRMDA in the past, you are eligible to apply. Eligible applicants are able to receive up to a maximum of $1,000, provided they have spent at least that much in matching funds. Eligible improvements are limited to the exterior of the front-facing, visible from the street side of the building.
Eligible improvements may include; painting the exterior of your business, planters, a new patio or patio improvements, repairs to the building exterior, entrance ways, doors and windows. Other improvements may be considered.
